Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Quality Assurance Analyst III within our team.



Key Responsibilities:



  • QA Engineer will help drive continuous improvement and quality of data products that are leveraged across the enterprise to drive key business decisions, product direction and enable a great user experience.

  • In this role you will demonstrate experience in software testing methodologies in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, waterfall/agile hybrid environment.

  • You will work with business and data analysts, data architects and data engineers to implement a comprehensive test strategy using test automation tooling and framework.

  • You will plan and execute all manual testing activities to ensure all business processes and workflows built on the enterprise data platform are delivered with high standards of quality.

  • Create test automation scripts and leverage tools for validating data and application functionality.

  • Build and execute test cases to ensure the integrity of all production solutions deployed on the enterprise data platform including data pipelines, data warehouses, data marts and data sharing repositories.

  • Identify opportunities for productivity gains through quality engineering process improvements and in the Agile development lifecycle; develop procedures and proposals and lead the implementation of these changes.

  • Document and analyze test results and recommend corrective action.

  • Isolate, reproduce, manage, and maintain defects and test case databases, and verify fixes.

  • Support user acceptance testing conducted by business partners or end users.

  • Implement automated testing using Playwright or similar technologies

  • Define and champion quality and testing best practices among development teams.




Qualifications:



  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field of study is preferred

  • 5 + years of professional work experience (or equivalent experience) is required.

  • Experience in leading a team of testers, including setting priorities and managing the work of the team.

  • Strong understanding of software quality principles and processes.

  • Experience defining and implementing test management tools and processes.

  • Ability to create, analyze, and publish quality metrics and measures across teams to communicate release quality, and deliver status updates to senior management.

  • Experience recommending and implementing best practices to improve quality engineering workflows and increase team productivity.

  • Experience with test data creation.

  • Experience designing and implementing test plans.

  • Experience with test automation tools including Playwright or similar

  • Proficient with test management tools and methodologies in Azure DevOps specifically (Required).

  • Attention to detail and ability to identify, isolate and document defects.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences, including communication both internally and externally to clients.

  • Strong knowledge of agile practices and experience with agile planning tools (e.g., Jira).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Required)

  • Analysis of requirements and involvement in Performance Modeling activity to define the non-functional business requirements called SLAs (Service Level Agreements) like TPS, Hits, Throughput, etc. by using production data for performance evaluation of web applications.




Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with USDA's Women Infants and Children (WIC) program is highly preferred



The wage range for this role reflects the wide array of factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are based on the unique facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual range is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00.


This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. It is classified as exempt under applicable law. Additionally, this position aligns with the Voyatek Career Framework as a level 03 individual contributorin a Quality Assurance position.
