We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Consultant to join our organization. As a System Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of projects and supporting our solutions. You will work closely with customers and systems architects to implement infrastructure solutions that host our public safety product suite.

• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to understand customers' unique business requirements and challenges. Translate requirements and challenges into innovative technical solutions.
• Implement various infrastructure systems including hardware, hypervisors, storage systems, etc.
• Configure operating systems, failover clusters & Microsoft SQL Server
• Update and maintain infrastructure components including hypervisors, storage systems, server firmware, etc.
• Implement and verify data backup solutions
• Work with Vendors to deploy hardware solutions
• Assist with maintaining Virtual environments, internally and at customer sites
• Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools to meet project requirements.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply this knowledge to drive improvement.
• Ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Create processes and documentation to improve efficiency and scale in the delivery of infrastructure implementations.

Qualifications

• VMWare Setup and Support
• SAN/Storage configuration
• Server Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory
• Server Hardware: HP, Dell, Cisco
• Enterprise clustering, HA, FT and DR solutions from Microsoft, VMWare, etc
• Understanding of requirements to support a highly available mission critical environment

Technology Familiarity with:

• DNS
• Load balancers
• SSL Certificates
• VPN
• Anti-virus
• Backup solutions
• Coding/scripting - TSQL, VBScript, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform
• SNMP network management and monitoring tools
• SQL Server tuning and administration
