Job Summary:
A reputable General Contractor (G.C.) company in Orlando is seeking an experienced Ground-Up Commercial Superintendent to oversee the construction of commercial projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing ground-up commercial construction projects and possess excellent leadership and organizational skills.


Key Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight:
  Manage all aspects of ground-up commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


• Team Leadership:
  Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of lead personnel and subcontractors on the project site.


• Safety Management:
  Enforce safety protocols and ensure all construction activities comply with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.


• Quality Assurance:
  Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.


• Problem Resolution:
  Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process.


• Client Relations:
  Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  Minimum of 5 years of experience as a superintendent in commercial construction, with a focus on ground-up projects.


• Skills:
  Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.


• Education:
  A degree in construction management or a related field is preferred but not required.


• Technical Proficiency:
  Proficient in construction management software and tools.

Preferred Experience:

• Ground-Up Projects:
  Proven track record in managing ground-up commercial construction projects from start to finish.


• Commercial Construction:
  Experience with various types of commercial projects, such as office buildings, retail spaces, and industrial facilities.
