Your Role
We are seeking an R&D Scientist to join our Semiconductor Solutions R&D team. In this role, you will work with a team of scientists to provide advanced material solutions to the semiconductor industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in organic and inorganic chemistry and a passion for material research and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and synthesize new organic and inorganic materials for Thermal Interface Materials (TIMs) for next-generation semiconductor devices
Optimize formulation, process, synthesis, and purification of materials
Characterize materials to establish quality-controlled products
Investigate material/formulation & process systematically, solve issues, and guide the project's development
Compile data on time and support the introduction of products to customers
Manage and lead research subjects assigned by the team leader
Complete routine lab duties and instrument maintenance
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Surface Chemistry, or other scientific disciplines
3 + years of experience with chemical synthesis and analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
PhD Degree in Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Surface Chemistry, or other scientific disciplines
Experience with organometallics, nanoparticles, or dispersion technology
Proficient in materials characterization and hands-on experience with spectroscopy (FTIR, UV-vis, NMR), thermal analysis (TGA and DSC), and microscopic techniques (SEM, AFM, and TEM)
Ability to work collaboratively in a team, learn, and adopt new concepts or techniques
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation abilities
Self-motivated with good attention to detail and capable of setting priorities
