Location: Warrendale, PA - Hybrid - Home Office

Summary:

As the Payroll Coordinator, you will coordinate payroll activities related to employee data, incoming payroll data and timekeeping data to ensure payrolls are accurate and completed in a timely manner with minimum of errors. Generally, assist manager and senior analyst with payroll related tasks.

What You'll Do:



  • Payroll Process:


    • Data entry into company’s UKG/ADP payroll system as needed.

    • Administer weekly payroll and act as back up for biweekly payroll.

    • Audit pay import sheets for all payrolls.

    • Calculate prevailing wage rates to ensure pay correctly reflects company’s contractual obligations.

    • Submit state multi worksite reporting.

    • Working with State and Local Tax Agencies

    • Analysis of payroll tax reporting.

    • Process and distribute payroll reports on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis.

    • Coordinate payroll paperwork (e.g., garnishments, reciprocity forms).

    • Partner with LOA and Benefits regarding benefit deductions or paid leave as necessary.

    • Participate in company’s payroll help desk answering questions and gathering information as requested.

    • Assist manager and senior payroll analyst as duties are assigned.




  • Timekeeping & Attendance:

    • Maintenance of timekeeping system data.

    • Audit timecards regularly to ensure no gaps or missing information prior to payroll processing.

    • Assist with timecard corrections as needed.

    • Partner with HR coordinators to ensure employees are assigned to correct accrual profiles including state regulatory sick leans plans.




  • Miscellaneous:

    • Participate in various improvement opportunities when requested.

    • Coordinate with HR about changes in payroll (e.g., terminations, new hires).



What You'll Need:


  • Minimum 2-Years: Payroll related experience with high volume payroll.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and leadership.

  • Demonstrated ability to work thoroughly and accurately when accomplishing tasks, no matter how small or large.

  • Demonstrated ability to work and manage confidential data on daily basis.

  • Self-starter with willingness to develop and assist other team members.

  • Skilled working with Microsoft Office including Excel; exposure-experience with HRIS/Payroll systems, UKG or Kronos preferred.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and handle issues with varying levels of pressure; assist in resolution.
