Position Overview



Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Safety Manager to join their Medical Transportation client's team in California. This position is a crucial part of the team, responsible for ensuring workplace safety and compliance.

The position is a 90 day contract onsite in National City, with a competitive pay range of $40 -$50 per hour.


Required Work Hours



Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities



  • Possess 3-5 years of experience in transportation, healthcare, automotive, or construction safety management.

  • Implement and customize safety protocols and revise existing safety manuals.

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and manage Injury and Illness Prevention Programs (IIPP).

  • Create and roll out safety training programs for staff, tailored to meet specific industry needs.

  • Develop and implement training materials and strategies for workforce safety education.

  • Maintain bilingual communication proficiency in English and Spanish, which is a plus.

  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint, for daily operations and documentation.


Qualifications



  • OSHA certifications are required.

  • A high school diploma is required; additional education or certifications are advantageous.

  • Proficiency in developing and delivering training programs.
