Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Safety Manager to join their Medical Transportation client's team in California. This position is a crucial part of the team, responsible for ensuring workplace safety and compliance.

The position is a 90 day contract onsite in National City, with a competitive pay range of $40 -$50 per hour.
Required Work Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Responsibilities
Possess 3-5 years of experience in transportation, healthcare, automotive, or construction safety management.
Implement and customize safety protocols and revise existing safety manuals.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and manage Injury and Illness Prevention Programs (IIPP).
Create and roll out safety training programs for staff, tailored to meet specific industry needs.
Develop and implement training materials and strategies for workforce safety education.
Maintain bilingual communication proficiency in English and Spanish, which is a plus.
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint, for daily operations and documentation.
Qualifications
OSHA certifications are required.
A high school diploma is required; additional education or certifications are advantageous.
Proficiency in developing and delivering training programs.
