Facility: Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center




Overview:



Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon to join our Surgical team at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center located in Griffin, Georgia. This is a PRN position to help cover weekend hospital call.


The Surgical Hospitalist is responsible for surgical consults, surgeries and follow-ups at the hospital while covering call.



Qualifications:



Required Minimum Education

• A MD or DO


• Applicants must be licensed or eligible for license in the State of Georgia Required


• Applicants must have completed the necessary Residency training requisite for their given specialty and be Certified or qualified for Certifications by their respective specialty Board

Required Minimum Skills

• It is expected that applicants will possess skills commensurate with their given specialty.


• Applicants will be expected to show proof of competency for clinical skills applied for.
