The Associate Scheduler plans and organizes a manufacturing work schedule. They work with many team members to ensure that production runs smoothly and on time.
Roles and Responsibilities/ Essential Functions:
Understand and support the company's Core Values
Carry out planning and coordination of production schedules
Coordinate with other teams to resolve issues
Create manufacturing work orders based off MRP suggestions.
Review raw material suggestions based off MRP ---create appropriate PO recommendations
Revise schedule as needed and alerts appropriate staff of schedule changes or delays
Revise planning as necessary and implement expedites as required
Generate production reports to assist Master Scheduler
Understand and utilize Advance Planning Software (Planet Together)

Required Experience:
Two years' previous experience in a similar position
A basic knowledge of computer software and operation
Required Skills, Education and/ or Certifications:
Must have working knowledge of the use of a PC and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Planning and time management
Communication to include interpersonal skills to get along well with others
Ability to effectively utilize Advanced Planning Software, Dynamics, Great Plains and MRP
Preferred Skills, Education and/or Certification:
High School Diploma or GED
Technical Certification or associate's degree in printing processes
