Business System Analyst Internship
BBP is seeking a qualified, self-motivated individual to join our Data Team as an intern. This person will join our team of data scientists and programmers who are building our modern software. In this role, you will seek opportunities to use Python, SQL, and data analytics to add tremendous value to our organization. As a Business System Analyst Intern, you will directly impact BBP by revolutionizing processes through automation.
Duties and responsibilities
Write and optimizeSQL queriesto extract, analyze, and manage business data.Develop and maintainsales reportsand other business performance reports to support decision-making.UtilizeIgnitionfor page creation, system customization, and light programming to enhance business applications.Work closely with sales, operations, and IT teams to gather reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy.Analyze business needs and proposetechnical solutionsto improve efficiency and system performance.Maintain and enhance business intelligence dashboards and reporting tools.Ensure data integrity and troubleshoot issues within reporting systems and SQL databases.Document processes, workflows, and best practices related to reporting and system development.
Education
Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
Qualifications
Experience with Python, PowerBI, SQL a plus
Superior Microsoft Excel skills
