What You'll Do:
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance Department.
Ensure all maintenance schedules are followed and completed.
Develop and enforce maintenance and safety policies and procedures.
Coordinate services with other departments (Nursing, Dietary, Housekeeping, etc.).
Conduct routine inspections of storage rooms, janitorial closets, and common areas.
Participate in state and federal surveys/inspections and assist in any needed follow-up.
Supervise all facility repairs, safety programs, fire prevention, and emergency protocols.
Monitor and support outside vendors to ensure work is completed as agreed.
Maintain safety data sheets (SDS) and ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals.
Train and supervise maintenance staff to uphold safety and infection control procedures.
Support budget planning and maintain records of department expenditures.
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or GED (required).
3+ years of maintenance/plant experience in a supervisory role (required).
Strong knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Ability to read blueprints and understand safety codes and building regulations.
Experience managing staff and working across departments.
Clear, professional communication and problem-solving skills.
Physical & Work Environment:
Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs.
Frequent walking, standing, bending, and occasional use of ladders/tools.
Exposure to typical maintenance noise, tools, and materials.
Must be able to respond to emergency maintenance issues at any time.

Bonus Skills (Not Required but Nice to Have):
Valid license in maintenance/plant operations per local/state requirements.
Experience working in healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care settings.
