Shift: 10-Hour Nights (Monday - Thursday, 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM)



Assignment Length: Flexible contracts from 13 weeks, ending no later than March 15, 2025



Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week



Position Overview:



This role involves performing CT scans in an emergency department environment, using Siemens and GE scannersfor routine ED patients, Code Stroke evaluations, and trauma cases. The ideal candidate will have strong experience conducting CT procedures across multiple patient age groups, from infants to geriatrics.


Required Skills, Certifications, and Experience:

• 
  Minimum 2 years of experience
  
  


• 
  ARRT(R)(CT) certification required
  
  


• 
  BLS certification required
  
  


• 
  CT procedure experience in abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstructions
  
  


• 
  Proficiency in operating GE and Siemens scanners
  
  


• 
  Open to first-time travelers
  
  
  


• 
  Locals accepted at a rate difference
  
  
  

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• 
  Outpatient CT experience
  
  
  


• 
  IV starts, PACS, contrast, and Visage experience
  
  
  

Job Details & Workflow:

• 
  Daily caseload: 150-200 scans across 4 rooms
  
  


• 
  Tech coverage:
  
  
  
  
  
  • 
    First shift: 4-5 techs
    
    
  
  
  • 
    Second shift (post-5 PM): 2-3 techs
    
    
  
  
  • 
    Third shift: 1 tech
    
    
  
  
  • 
    Weekends: 2 techs
    
    
  
  
  
  


• 
  Average caseload per tech in an 8-hour shift: 8-12 patients
  
  

Special Procedures & Equipment:

• 
  Routine ED patients, Code Stroke, and trauma cases
  
  
  


• 
  Patient demographics: Infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  
  


• 
  Special equipment: Siemens S3000 and Sequoia scanners
  
  


• 
  Unit systems: EPIC and Visage
  
  

Scrub Requirements:

• 
  Royal blue scrubs required
