Description: Our client is currently seeking a RF Technician



Contractor Electronics Engineering Technician 5 Location: Longmont, CO

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and test electronics, including active and passive RF systems and microwave circuits.
  
  


• Conduct advanced soldering, rework, and assembly for a variety of component types (e.g., QFN, QFP, TSOP, etc.) under a microscope.
  
  


• Build and test multi-wire cable harnesses and develop related documentation, including Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
  
  


• Perform troubleshooting using equipment like oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
  
  


• 
  


• Collaborate with design and operations teams to support board bring-up, rework, and system integration.
  
  


• Maintain high-quality standards for assembly, testing, and documentation within a quality management system.
  
  


• 
  Preferred Qualifications:
  
  




• 8+ years of experience with analog, digital, and RF subsystems.
  
  


• Proficiency in soldering, rework tools, and handling high-reliability products.
  
  


• Familiarity with RF circuits, antenna measurements, and microwave systems.
  
  


• Certification in J-STD or IPC standards (e.g., soldering, harnessing, rework).
  
  


• Strong manual dexterity for handling small parts and intricate assemblies.

  • Familiarity with schematic and PCB layout design in Altium Designer.
