Engineering Intern at ORBIS Corporation in Bardstown, Kentucky

Job Description:

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the design, development and testing of engineering projects.


• Create and update drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software.


• Organize and maintain project documentation and data.


• Identify and optimize a process to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time, and optimize material usage.


• Analyze current quality control processes, identify common defects and their root causes, and propose solutions to improve product quality.


• Present project outcomes to leadership.


• Other duties as assigned.

Performance Measures and Outcomes:

• Project Completion

Education/Certification.

• Currently enrolled or a recent graduate of Engineering program (i.e. Mechanical, Manufacturing, Plastics)


• Hold a minimum of 3.0GPA.

Addition Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Active Student in good standing focusing on career Engineering


• Superior communication and computer skills.


• Organized, self-motivated, and professional.
