A nationwide product liability and personal injury law firm based in St. Louis, is looking for an AsbestosParalegal / Bankruptcy Trust Specialist to join their team. You will work directly with attorneys, paralegals, clients, defense counsel, lien resolution vendors, and other members of our firm and team. This is a full-time, in office position located in Brentwood, Missouri.
Duties Include:
Prepare daily work history affidavits to document asbestos exposure by gathering information directly from clients, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
Draft comprehensive product affidavits to substantiate exposure, focusing on identifying and documenting product usage.
Manage the documentation and submission of claims, including maintaining accurate and organized records.
Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing empathetic and timely updates about their claims to ensure they feel supported and informed.
Education/Experience:
Experience with product affidavits and work history affidavits related to asbestos bankruptcy trust claims.
Experience in legal case management, particularly with asbestos bankruptcy trust claims desired.
Competency in drafting affidavits or similar legal documentation.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Commitment to handling confidential information.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information to clients.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Paralegal Certificate preferred; equivalent work as a paralegal required.
Compensation: $50K to $60K depending on experience
