Description: Judge Healthcare is urgently seeking a Behavioral Health HIM Coordinator for a fantastic client in Philadelphia, PA! Hybrid after training!

Type: Contract 6+ months


Shift: Mon - Fri, 7:30am - 4:00pm HYBRID AFTER TRAINING!



Location: Philadelphia, PA 19104


Pay: Flexible and based on experience



Responsibilities:

• Responsible for collaborating with providers, therapists, patients and families with releasing protective health information (PHI).


• Review all medical record requests for completeness and accuracy of routine and non-routine disclosures, in and outside the organization.


• Deficiency work queues will be monitored daily for chart completion and prompt processing of claim billing by the coding team.

Qualifications:

• RHIA or RHIT Certified


• Associate or higher degree


• 3-5 Years of HIM experience with Release of Information and Analyzing records Behavioral Health experience preferred


• Preferably knowledge of Behavioral Health laws


• Electronic health system usage - preferred EPIC.


• Understanding of HIPAA and state rules and regulations.
