Position: Mammography Tech



Certifications Required:

• ARRT M
  
  


• ARRT R
  
  


• BLS
  
  


• State License
  
  

Weekend Requirements:

• Two half-day shifts per month (8:00 AM - 12:00 PM), typically on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays at the Screening Mammography Clinic
  
  


• Six total Saturday half-day shifts
  
  

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 2+ years
  
  

Patient Care:

• Provides tailored care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
  
  


• Considers psychosocial factors, environmental safety, education needs, communication style, and understanding levels
  
  


• Accesses only the minimum necessary information to provide patient care
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Performs routine and specialized breast procedures to produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention
  
  


• Works independently using sound judgment and clinical skills to ensure safety and accuracy
  
  


• Gains patient confidence through effective communication and monitoring
  
  


• Adheres to regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain privacy and safety
  
  


• May orient staff or perform specific procedures as needed
