Description:
Position Title: Process Project Engineer


Reporting Structure: The Process Project Engineer will collaborate with the Senior Engineering Team.


Key Responsibilities:

• Addressing operational challenges through analytical methods, experimentation, and collaborative problem-solving.


• Updating and creating technical documents such as P&ID, PFD, and mass/energy balance.


• Diagnosing and resolving DCS and PLC issues, along with documenting control narratives for process adjustments.


• Crafting and refining scopes for upcoming projects, including the development of equipment specifications.


• Building and maintaining effective relationships with cross-functional teams including production, R&D, and maintenance.


• Establishing professional credibility through the application of expertise and experience.


• Contributing to the development of operational sequences and conceptual control strategies.


• Efficiently managing multiple concurrent projects, demonstrating strong organizational skills.


• Active participation in PHA/HAZOP and other regulatory activities.


• Involvement in project commissioning and provision of technical support to achieve project objectives.


• Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical).


• 2-4 years of relevant experience in engineering design within chemical plants or process/chemical equipment manufacturing.


• Hands-on approach and self-starting capabilities.


• Familiarity with piping and equipment codes, product safety standards, etc.


• Knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, including pneumatics and automated control systems, is advantageous.


• Previous experience in an RMP and PSM environment.


• Exceptional troubleshooting skills.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Basic understanding of project management techniques.


• Willingness to travel moderately (10%).
