Description: Our client is currently seeking a RN Unit Manager to join their team!


Scope of Role:
Location: Northampton, MA


Hours: 8:30am- 5:00pm


The RN Unit Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing nursing operations, ensuring quality resident care, managing staff, and maintaining regulatory compliance within the long-term care facility.



This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Nursing Staff Management




• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)


• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback


• Ensure staff compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations


• Maintain appropriate staffing levels and schedule coverage




• Clinical Oversight




• Oversee resident care and ensure quality standards are met


• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning meetings


• Conduct resident assessments and develop care plans


• Monitor and ensure proper documentation of resident care




• Administrative Duties




• Manage unit operations and coordinate daily activities


• Maintain accurate resident records and reports


• Ensure proper inventory and supply levels


• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives


• Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Implement and maintain infection control protocols


• Oversee incident reporting and investigation processes

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred


• Current RN license in the state of practice


• 3-5 years of long-term care nursing experience


• Prior supervisory or management experience preferred


• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
