RSi is looking to fill a Senior Buyer position to support our Corporate Office. This position will serve as the Lead Senior Buyer spearheading policies, methodologies, practices, automation initiatives, and functional leadership among the team.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain and manage file documentation in accordance with company policies and DCMA Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) requirements.
- Active involvement in internal and external audit activities, including purchase order file reviews and CPSR audits.
- Collaborate effectively with other buyers, company executives, program managers, accounting, property, shipping/receiving, contracts, and vendors.
- Process purchase orders through the full lifecycle, completing larger procurements independently.
- Support multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment that changes quickly in response to customer needs.
- Develop and review prime contract flow down documents to ensure adherence to contract requirements while minimizing company liability.
- Assist in creating and analyzing metrics related to purchasing actions.
- Champion continuous improvement efforts by proposing and implementing innovative process changes and techniques.
- Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions, contract provisions, clauses and other contractual requirements.
Required Minimum Education/Experience/Certifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of purchasing experience as a Buyer in a DCMA-compliant purchasing system environment.
- Precise attention to detail in reviewing purchasing files to ensure compliance with company policies and CPSR requirements.
- Demonstrated expertise in purchasing highly complex, high-value materials, supplies, and services.
- Proven ability to effectively lead and align a team of buyers to meet organizational and contractual expectations.
- Strong understanding and application of the DCMA CPSR guidelines.
- Extensive experience and working knowledge of government regulations, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and agency-specific supplements such as DFARS and NASA NFS.
- Exceptional organizational and workflow management skills.
Preferred Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/IT Skills/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Unanet & Costpoint experience preferred
