Responsibilities:
As a Systems Engineer for Undersea Maritime Systems, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing a test program to very system and subsystem requirements
Develop and implement test programs to verify system and subsystem requirements across electrical and optical technologies
Apply systems engineering principles to define, analyze, and manage system requirements and architectures
Participate in requirement decomposition, test planning, and execution aligned with program objectives
Use requirements management and system modeling tools to support product design and verification processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transition from development to production
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related Science, Engineering field (Master's degree can be substituted in lieu of experience)
Clearance: Active or ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant job experience (0+ with Master's degree)
Agile methodology experience preferred
Proficiency with systems engineering principles, system modeling tools, and requirements management
Understanding of product design verification and qualification processes.
Ability to interpret and allocate system requirements to electrical and optical subsystems
Preferred Skills:
Experience with design and qualification of electrical and optical systems
Familiarity with electrical/optical system architecture, requirements decomposition, and lifecycle management
Background in new product development and transitioning designs to manufacturing environments.
