Location: East Chicago, IN

Schedule: Full-time, On-site - Mon-Fri 6:45AM-3:15PM

Pay: $29-$39/hr - Pay based on experience and skills

Position comes with $1,500 retention bonus




What You'll do



As a Maintenance Mechanic, you'll keep our plant equipment running safely and smoothly. You'll work on all kinds of systems-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic. If you like hands-on work, problem-solving, and being part of a team that keeps operations moving, this job's for you.



Your Day-to-Day Will Include

• Fixing and maintaining plant equipment


• Troubleshooting and replacing hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical parts like valves, bearings, shafts, and gears


• Doing minor electrical work related to mechanical repairs


• Light welding, grinding, and fabrication (if qualified)


• Reading and working from blueprints, schematics, or sketches


• Using the work order system to track tasks and materials


• Operating forklifts or powered lifts when needed


• Helping with daily equipment inspections


• Following all safety and environmental rules


• Pitching in with other maintenance tasks as needed

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Experience doing maintenance in an industrial setting


• Basic set of tools


• Valid driver's license

What's Nice to Have (But Not Required):

• 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience


• Carpentry and welding skills

Work Environment



100% on-site in an industrial, outdoor plant environment
You'll be on your feet, working in elevated or tight spaces, and moving around the plant throughout your shift
