Description: Our client is currently seeking a EPMO SR PROJECT MANAGER
Under the direction of the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) Portfolio Manager, the Senior Project Manager oversees the planning, execution, and completion of enterprise-wide projects. This role drives innovation, manages project lifecycles, and ensures alignment with credit union strategies and goals to accelerate business value. The Senior Project Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, integrating business and technical expertise to deliver impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Execution
Lead divisional and enterprise-level projects with moderate to high complexity.
Define and execute project strategies to achieve business objectives and maximize value delivery.
Identify and mitigate risks, resolve conflicts, and drive collaboration among stakeholders.
Strategic Communication & Change Management
Develop effective communication strategies, ensuring stakeholder alignment and commitment.
Monitor industry trends and consumer insights, incorporating innovative solutions into projects.
Overcome resistance to change by setting expectations and leading teams through transitions.
Business Consulting & Partnership
Partner with business and technical teams to understand requirements and align solutions with business strategy.
Drive informed decision-making through business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and market insights.
Assess vendor solutions, conduct risk evaluations, and provide recommendations for optimal service delivery.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Inspire and motivate project teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and results-driven collaboration.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and feedback to enhance team performance.
Cultivate a dynamic and inclusive work environment across distributed teams.
Data-Driven Strategy & Analysis
Evaluate project trends, budgets, and resources to optimize delivery and mitigate risks.
Consult with senior executives to define measurable business value and align initiatives with organizational goals.
Identify interdependencies across projects and implement strategies for seamless integration.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Management Information Systems, or Computer Science (preferred).
Advanced degree (MBA or related) a plus.
Minimum of 8 years in project analysis, coordination, and management, with at least 5 years leading projects end-to-end.
Experience in financial institutions or credit unions preferred.
Technical & Business Skills
Expertise in project management methodologies, including Agile, Lean, and Six Sigma.
Strong business analytical skills, strategic planning, and process improvement expertise.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
Ability to evaluate business objectives, influence stakeholders, and drive impactful decisions.
Knowledge of financial products, services, and delivery channels is a plus.
Familiarity with contractual negotiations and regulatory compliance.
