Job Overview



We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must have extensive scrub experience in Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, and Electrophysiology procedures with limited RTO upon booking.


Responsibilities

• Scrub, monitor, and perform EKG procedures
  
  


• Support balloon angioplasty, stents, thrombectomy, pacemaker/defib device placement, and heart catheterizations
  
  


• Conduct interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, vascular studies, and hemodynamic monitoring
  
  


• Assist with electrophysiology procedures such as cardioversion and pacemaker insertion
  
  


• Operate Siemens Artis 1 x-ray system
  
  


• Utilize EPIC and Mac Lab systems for documentation
  
  


• Maintain flexibility to float to nearby Rowan Medical Center
  
  

Requirements

• 
  Minimum Experience: 2 years in Cardiac Cath Lab
  
  


• 
  Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS
  
  


• 
  Must-Have Skills: Scrub (Level 3 or 4), Monitor, EKG
  
  


• 
  Specialized Equipment Experience: EKOS and CSI
  
  


• 
  RTO Limit: 7 days max for 13-week contract
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Circulate procedures
  
  


• IV start proficiency
  
  

Scheduling Details

• 
  Call Requirement: 8 weekdays & 2 weekends per 6-week period
  
  


• 
  Holiday Coverage: Memorial Day & Independence Day mandatory coverage
  
  


• 
  Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends per 6-week period
  
  


• 
  Self-Scheduling: Balanced by the unit
