Join the Publix Retail Fresh Delivery team as a Senior Software Engineer where you will be part of an agile team developing modern applications using responsive web and mobile technologies.
Responsibilities:
Playing a key role interacting with enterprise teams and product management
Writing user stories
Grooming product backlog items to develop features that consider a frictionless user experience
Leading the delivery of lasting contributions
The most suitable hire for this position will be a technical candidate with strong C#/.NET coding experience as well as strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills. The candidate will be familiar with all aspects of delivering software using agile best practices such as test-driven development, code refactoring, continuous integration, simple code design, pair programming, and a common codebase using cloud technologies. Additionally important are writing, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with management, peers, technology vendors, and business unit customers.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related analytical field, or equivalent experience
5+ years’ experience in application design, development, and delivery in an enterprise environment
3+ years’ coding experience leveraging .NET Framework 4.5/5.0, .NET Core, C#.NET, ASP.NET MVC, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and object-oriented design
3+ years’ experience with SQL Server or similar relational databases
3+ years’ experience in analyzing complex business problems or processes and translating business requirements into technology solutions that factor in system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies, scalability, and total cost of ownership
Leadership experience in driving a team’s work in an agile scrum environment as a subject matter expert, product owner, business analyst, or similar position
Experience planning and managing all activities associated with delivering solutions in a large-scale distributed environment
Coordinating large and critical cross platform releases with business units and technical teams
Experience in approving design of complex technical solutions working with architects and other company resources
Strong knowledge of architecture and design of solutions in an Azure environment to solve business problems
5 years in an agile scrum environment, leading developers, and working closely with business partners
3+ years of experience in implementing enterprise applications using platform services like Azure App service, Azure SQL, Azure Service Bus, Databricks, notification hubs, event hubs, Microservices, stream analytics, Cosmos DB, Redis Cache, OpenAPI, IoT Hub, application insights, etc.
3+ years’ experience using Xamarin, Xamarin Forms, or MAUI
Familiarity with mobile development and deployment of Android and Apple applications
AZ-303 and/or AZ 304 Azure certifications or equivalent experience in designing/architecting Azure solutions
Extensive experience developing in Azure Data Bricks
Experience with Data storage technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL.
Knowledge of Angular development and Telerik UI controls
Experience using Kendo
Experience with event-based messaging platforms like Kafka or MQTT
Experience with Docker or other containerization technologies
