Job Description:

The Department of Internal Medicine at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine is seeking a Research Associate to perform organized research on the molecular biology of the malaria parasite, focusing on the drug resistance and epigenetic regulation aspects; Provide assistance on the training of postdoctoral scholars and students on malaria-related lab techniques.MINIMUM:

Master's degree from an accredited institution with demonstrated record of academic research achievement, or professional qualifications in the field of specialization above those which would be equivalent to the highest degree. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Research Associate.

PREFERRED:

Experience in malaria parasite culture. Experience in genetic manipulation of the malaria parasite. Expertise in genomics data. Experience in CRISPR/cas9 design.
