Purpose:
Responsible for all product movement in Distributorship's warehouse, managing inventory, cycle counts, loading and unloading trucks. Manages, trains and develops Warehouse Team Members.
Job Components:
Ensure warehouse is set up and maintained in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.
Ensures expenses are within established budget guidelines.
Process inbound receiving of containers or full truck, truck pallet shipments, and small parcel shipments.
Prepares and distributes operational reports

Qualifications:
High school graduate (or equivalent)
Minimum one year supervisory experience required
Experience in a warehouse, logistics, distribution environment strongly preferred.
Strong written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Strong organization and time management skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment
Working knowledge of warehouse and last mile logistics.
Understanding of state, federal and interstate commerce regulations including HAZMAT shipping laws and requirements.
Able to lift and/or move 75 lbs.
Previous forklift experience is required
Must have and maintain a DOT medical certificate, valid State driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Works under limited supervision
Uses frequent independent judgment when making decisions
Accountable for general duties within warehouse operations.
Manage two or more Team Members
Work Environment:
Exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as exposure to moving equipment mechanical parts, electricity, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
Exposure to varying temperatures.
Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
