Purpose:



Responsible for all product movement in Distributorship's warehouse, managing inventory, cycle counts, loading and unloading trucks. Manages, trains and develops Warehouse Team Members.



Job Components:

• Ensure warehouse is set up and maintained in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.


• Ensures expenses are within established budget guidelines.


• Process inbound receiving of containers or full truck, truck pallet shipments, and small parcel shipments.


• Prepares and distributes operational reports


• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school graduate (or equivalent)


• Minimum one year supervisory experience required


• Experience in a warehouse, logistics, distribution environment strongly preferred.


• Strong written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills.


• Strong organization and time management skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment


• Working knowledge of warehouse and last mile logistics.


• Understanding of state, federal and interstate commerce regulations including HAZMAT shipping laws and requirements.


• Able to lift and/or move 75 lbs.


• Previous forklift experience is required


• Must have and maintain a DOT medical certificate, valid State driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Scope Data:

• Works under limited supervision


• Uses frequent independent judgment when making decisions


• Accountable for general duties within warehouse operations.


• Manage two or more Team Members

Work Environment:

• Exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as exposure to moving equipment mechanical parts, electricity, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.


• Exposure to varying temperatures.


• Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
