The Human Resources (HR) Assistant is a generalist role that provides essential administrative support to the Human Resources department. This position is responsible for assisting with various HR functions, such as recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration and compliance with Department of Labor (DOL) employment laws. The HR Assistant will work closely with staff to ensure HR operations run smoothly and support the organization's commitment to providing quality mental health services and providing high-quality customer service to all stakeholders both internal and external.
This full-time role will report to the Director of Human Resources,
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or HR-related role, preferably within the healthcare or community mental health field.
Essential Work Location, Hours, and Travel Requirements
Work is typically performing in the office setting
Flexibility in hours may be required to accommodate employer and employee needs, training sessions, special projects, or job fairs
Travel is expected to be 10-15% to the organization's offices in the Monadnock Region and job fairs
Remote opportunities may be available on occasion and after successful completion of training period
