Overview
Sev1Tech is looking for a Fielder to join our team to provide support to tactical radio systems through New Equipment Training (NET) in support of PM Tactical Radio (PM TR).
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Perform property management task associated with the fielding of C4ISR systems to units.
Coordinate, inventory, control, hand receipt, perform Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE)/Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A) transactions for systems being fielded.
Updates and generate property status reporting associated with the lateral transfer of equipment.
Responsible for adherence with Army Regulation 700-142 Material Fielding regulation in the execution of fielding activities.
Ensures that all property accountability discrepancies are properly reconciled and that property books are properly maintained.
Responsibilities
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Five (5) years of fielding experience in military systems. Four (4) years military service (E6 or higher) may be considered as military training experience
Candidate must be a US Citizen and have an Active SECRET security clearance
Must have hands on experience and training Army Property Book Management and Army Regulation 700-142
Must be worldwide deployable and possess a valid US Driver’s License with the ability to obtain a valid passport within 30 days of employment
Must be able to read installation drawings and perform installations in accordance with drawing
Electronic component installation experience
Hands-on or educational experience in two of the following areas: electronics, network support (hardware/software), computers (hardware or software), tactical radios, satellite networks, data encryption, web-based apps, encryption devices, COMSEC, or Platforms
Be detail oriented to ensure proper accountability of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)
Candidates should be computer literate and able to function using the Microsoft Office suite of programs
Travel requirements will be up to 75% of the year to include CONUS and OCONUS locations, with the possibility of as little as 48 hours’ notice prior to a deployment
Candidates must qualify to rent a vehicle from various national rental car agencies
Physical Requirements:
Due to the physical nature of the program, candidates must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds at shoulder height and 60 pounds at waist height for a distance of 50 feet.
The candidate will be required to move in and out of vehicles when installing military equipment.
Qualifications
Able to use a spectrum analyzer to perform interference and other performance tests on installed equipment
Testing using Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR)
Experience with PM Tactical Radios and/or COMSEC
