A Pediatric Audiologist specializes in preventative, diagnostic, habilitative, and rehabilitative services related to audition and communication disorders in children from birth to 21 years of age. This role involves conducting evaluations, screenings, and diagnostic tests, working within multidisciplinary clinics, and collaborating on patient care plans for conditions such as craniofacial anomalies and exposure to ototoxic drugs.
Job Details
Schedule: 36 hours per week (Monday - Friday, schedule varies based on patient appointments)
Location: Florida
Guaranteed Hours: 38 per week

Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat pediatric patients for audition and communication disorders.
Perform auditory brainstem response evaluations and newborn hearing screenings.
Conduct diagnostic testing and monitoring for patients exposed to ototoxic drugs.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinics for patient care.
Provide professional services for patients with craniofacial anomalies.
Maintain detailed patient records and documentation.
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Audiology.
Florida State Audiology License (must be obtained before start).
Certifications: ASHA certification, CPR.
Experience: Clinical Pediatric Rotation in Audiology or Pediatric Experience in Audiology.
