Position Overview



A Cath Lab Technologist plays a critical role in cardiac and vascular procedures, assisting physicians during interventional radiology (IR) and electrophysiology (EP) procedures. This position requires expertise in advanced imaging techniques, sterile procedures, and patient monitoring during catheterization lab operations.

  Schedule: Monday - Friday

  On-Call Requirement: Rotational 24-hour call (8-12 days per month)

Responsibilities

• Assist in interventional radiology (IR) and electrophysiology (EP) procedures.
  
  


• Operate imaging equipment to support cardiac catheterization.
  
  


• Ensure patient safety and radiation protection during procedures.
  
  


• Maintain sterile technique while preparing instruments and assisting physicians.
  
  


• Monitor patients for complications and assist in emergency interventions.
  
  


• Document procedural details and maintain accurate electronic health records.
  
  

Qualifications & Certifications

• 
  ARRT Certification with state licensure OR RCIS Certification required.
  
  


• 
  IR and EP experience required.
  
  


• 
  COVID-19 Vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions permitted).
  
  


• 
  Flu Vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions permitted).
