Job Description:

• He/she will offer functional guidance to coordinate the efforts of and receive advice from employees within his/her department on matters within their respective provinces.


• Successfully document, standardized, best practices and measure towards sustainment and raised improvements.


• Support process improvements that link to the strategic operational directions of the business unit.


• Assign, direct, and assist in the preparation of workstation and work area layout for new, revised, or proposed procedures and equipment.


• Train and coach Operations in the proper use of Lean Six Sigma process improvement tools to ensure timely project completions.


• Monitor key metric performance and improvements and support process owners to clearly link project metrics to strategic operational objectives using Business Process Management principles.


• Develop and deliver presentations to all levels of employees and management.


• A successful candidate should demonstrate skills in team building, material flow systems, lead time compression, and standard work.


• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications


BS in Engineering from an accredited university, or related field experience in process improvement in a manufacturing environment. Expertise in Lean Value Stream Mapping and waste-reduction tools of the Toyota Production System. Waste elimination in both transactional and manufacturing processes.


Minimum of 2-5 years of process improvement experience in a heavy or equivalent manufacturing environment. Operations experience is highly desired.


Ability to travel as needed (approximately 10%)
