Job Description The CT Tech performs diagnostic imaging procedures on inpatient, ER, and outpatient patients using Siemens and Philips CT scanners. The role involves starting IVs, obtaining patient consents, and ensuring excellent patient care. The technologist collaborates with nurses, doctors, and transporters to maintain a positive team environment.



Certifications Required:

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in CT imaging
  
  


• First-time travelers are accepted
  
  

Unit Information:

• Average caseload: 12-24 patients/day across 4 CT rooms
  
  


• EMR: Epic
  
  


• PACS: Fuji
  
  

General Details:

• 
  Scrub Color: Gray

  RTO: Maximum 7 days

  Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified otherwise

  Floating: Within facility as needed
  
  

Call Requirements:

• 8 days total per assignment, with at least 2 weeks' notice for scheduling
  
  

Holidays:

• If one major holiday falls during the assignment, the traveler is required to work it.
  
  


• If multiple holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler must work two of them.
  
  

Compliance Requirements

• Full compliance is mandatory to start on time.
  
  


• If not compliant by the due date, the start date will be pushed back by 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedules.
  
  

Pre-Screening

• Candidate reviews are conducted by clinical staff to ensure a proper fit. Final approval is given by the manager.
