Prepares new files within the file classification plan.
Accesses, compiles, gathers, and delivers requested information assets.
Maintains an accurate charge-out system.
Maintains accurate circulation information.
Receives and processes information transferred to inactive storage in accordance with established schedules.
Processes obsolete information for destruction, in accordance with the retention policy and established procedures.
Interfaces with supervisors, co-workers, and other staff members to exchange information. All contact is internal to the organization.
Identify, compile, sort, organize, and manage appropriate data.
Communicate results and findings effectively, using established formats and reporting tools (MS Excel required)
QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of a high school diploma or the equivalent is required.
Candidates with experience in an active information environment and one or more years of college with specialized course work in administrative management and IT are preferred.
Experience in operating office equipment, such as reprographics equipment, calculators, and reader/printers, and the ability to lift standard information storage boxes,. Typically, the requirement is the ability to lift 35 to 50 lbs
