Job Responsibilities:




Mission of the Position



The Warranty Engineer Student will provide technical support, from a engineering perspective, in the resolution of field concerns. The Student is responsible to test and diagnose electrical components alone or at their working environment to get to the Root cause of issue reported.



Team Summary



The Warranty Team interacts with the different disciplines within the Magna Powertrain Driveline business to identify and drive effective root cause, corrective action, and preventive actions.



Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical tests and diagnostics in sensors, actuators and modules in bench or vehicle.


• Provide root cause analysis and assistance in the resolution of customer concerns


• Review and organize reports documented in the warranty management system


• Participate on and provide support for troubleshooting to ensure a focus on Pare to resolution of high priority customer concerns.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.


• Enrolled in an engineering program with an accredited school.


• Strong interest in the automotive industry


• Results, Action Oriented
