Description:

SUMMARY

The Summer Intern will be a highly motivated individual that is responsible for assisting department heads on special projects and other assigned tasks. The internship will be a temporary position not expected to exceed 10-week term. Responsibilities will include formulating a special report at the end of the term to showcase research results and company recommendations.

DUTIES

  • Assists with providing research for policies, training, strategic planning, and other human resource related issues.
  • Provides support on projects and implementations as assigned.
  • Provides assistance by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Reports safety issues or concerns to management in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to report to assigned location when necessary.


REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Ability to work independently and with others.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Reliability and timeliness.
  • Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team.
  • Minimum 2.7 GPA or higher.
  • Letter of recommendation.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Prior experience in case studies or research reporting.
