General Maintenance at Asbury Arms, Inc. in Cocoa, Florida

Job Description:

Westminster Asbury is seeking to fill a full-time General Maintenance position for its location in beautiful Cocoa, Florida.  This position will primarily be responsible for resolving maintenance issues, such as plumbing and electrical issues for a senior living community.  The schedule is typically Monday-Friday and may include some on-call work during the evenings or weekends for emergencies. 

General Responsibilities:

Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance or repair, as directed, involving the following on a daily basis:

• Electrical and Plumbing


• A/C, Boiler and Heating Systems


• Performs all needed repairs to ensure that quality standards are met prior to resident occupancy


• Maintains on-call report and log of service calls


• Paint, Window treatments, appliances, lighting, toilet/vanity replacement, and other duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in carpentry/plumbing/electrical.  Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
