Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join their client's team in California. This position involves managing financial transactions, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate records to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.
Responsibilities:
Prepares and processes invoices, check requests, manual checks, and weekly check disbursements.
Enters invoices into SAGE (accounting program) for assigned apartment complexes.
Ensures invoices are submitted with the proper approvals and notes.
Assigns general ledger account codes to invoices.
Maintains accurate records and complete documentation for all transactions.
Provides guidance regarding invoices to resident managers and other personnel.
Researches, tracks, and resolves (or properly refers) invoice problems and discrepancies.
Maintains regular contact with other departments to obtain and convey information and/or to correct transactions.
Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
Stays updated with office-related software for job development and productivity due to new technology.
Ensures communication is clear, precise, and professional through emails and notes.
Requirements:
Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
Proficiency in using SAGE accounting software.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and personnel.
Work Hours:
Monday - Friday, 1st Shift
Benefits:
The position offers competitive pay with a range of $18 to $23 per hour.
