The VP of Partner Development will lead and manage the Partner Development department with a focus on strengthening current and future school relationships. This role will work closely with the Director of Partner Intelligence and the Director of Partner Monetization to drive growth, retention, and satisfaction at the client level. Additionally, the VP of Partner Development will play a critical role in fostering collaboration between Sidearm and other key Learfield entities to benefit fans, clients, and the overall business.

Core Focus

  • Driving the partner development team in forging stronger relationships with key clients through high-level leadership, communication, and subject matter expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Present and close deals with new and renewal clients, ensuring seamless contract execution and long-term partnerships.
  • Oversee teams handling partner development and technical account management.
  • Advocate for the new vision of Sidearm through high-level communications and meetings with VIP partners.
  • Champion and create awareness around new Sidearm features and functionality, while promoting benefits of collaboration with Learfield subsidiaries.
  • Act as the primary contact for resolving high-level client escalations.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Partner Intelligence to integrate insights into client management practices.
  • Work with the Director of Partner Monetization to ensure sponsorship packages and monetization strategies are seamlessly implemented at the client level.
  • Monitor KPIs for client satisfaction, including Net Promoter Score (NPS), Customer Satisfaction Score (CSAT), and Customer Effort Score (CES).

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in presenting and closing deals with both new and renewal clients, with a track record of driving successful partnerships.
  • 15+ years of experience in client-facing roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Experience in working directly with clients to grow key business objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills to monitor and improve client satisfaction metrics.
  • Excellent communication and problem-resolution abilities.
  • Background in digital platforms or sports technology preferred.
