Commercial Security Consultant at Pye-Barker Fire & Safety in Charlotte, North Carolina

The Commercial Security Consultant position specializes in growing a new client base within the commercial intrusion, access control, video surveillance & fire alarm verticals. This position requires a strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal skills, an aptitude for technology and the ability to develop industry related partnerships within an assigned territory.
*Essential Duties & Responsibilities*:

* Drive growth by building new customer relationships while maintaining existing ones within an assigned territory

* Communicate with new prospective clients to identify and understand their business and security needs; identify and suggest solutions based on those needs

* Design and present integrated security solutions to prospective and existing client base

* Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Sonitrol core product solutions while staying abreast of current market trends

* Develop relationships with relevant industry partners

* Identify new clients by researching and creating networking opportunities

* Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers

* Utilize CRM for sales activity and backlog reporting

*Education / Qualifications*:

* Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, or relevant field

* A minimum 2 years of outside sales experience required

* Excellent communication, organizational & interpersonal skills

* Excellent sales & negotiation skills

* Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software

*Other Duties:*

* Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy

* Performs other duties as assigned

*Physical Requirements:*

* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

* Must be able to travel
