Job Description:

Now Hiring Security Officers in Arlington, VA! Full-time and Part-time opportunities are available. Looking for Weekend/Weekday availability.

DCJS License and Driver's License are required for this position.

The Security Officer is accountable for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. Our security officers.

• Act as a visible deterrent to crime.
• Identify and report suspicious, dangerous, or criminal acts.
• Perform foot patrol in outside environments.
• Monitor CCTV.
• Operate a two-way radio.
• Produce and maintain different security operations reports and forms.
• Provide guidance and directions to guests.
• Managing entry points and responding to security breaches or alarms during day and evening operations.

Successful candidates must have

• Excellent customer service, phone, and computer skills
• Two (2) years of security experience
• Active DCJS
• Proficient two-way radio communication skills
• CCTV and dispatch experience
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• The ability to successfully complete a background and drug screen in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• The ability to stand for long periods of time and ability to walk, patrol for a complete 8-hour shift.
• A valid U.S. Driver's License - required.

Pay: $18.75 hourly

1. (Monday- Friday Shift's)
   • Shift Timing: 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM
   • Shift Timing: 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM
2. (Weekday and Weekend Shift's)
   • Shift Timing: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
   • Shift Timing: 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM
   • Shift Timing: 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM
