Job Summary
Under direction of department operational leadership, oversees day to day operation of an outpatient clinic or practice for 2+ neurosurgery practices within the department of MGB Neurosurgery including the clinical practice of the Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery. May assist by assigning and prioritizing workflow, troubleshooting issues, training and orientation, providing back up support for a Supervisor or Manager. Provides guidance and help to others to resolve complex issues and problems. The Lead Practice & OR Operations Assistant will serve as the lead for departmental daily operating room oversight and coordination for 25+ attending surgeons, surgical residents and fellows across 2 procedural sites in a high acuity and volume environment.



Qualifications


Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Licenses and Credentials
Certified Medical Assistant [National Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred


Experience
office experience 5-7 years preferred
