Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. has a job opportunity for a full-time Maritime Mechanic in San Diego, CA.

Summary: The Maritime Mechanic supports Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group One (EODGRU ONE) in boat trailer and watercraft service support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maritime Mechanic will service, repair, and maintain a wide range of watercraft and their trailers, including light surface craft, Jet Skis, and various models of inboard and outboard motors.

• Will assist in providing on-the-job training (OJT) to new military and civilian mechanics, ensuring the maintenance team's skills are up-to-date and comprehensive.

Required Qualifications:

• At least three (3) years’ experience as an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certified mechanic with commercial small outboard engines and ancillary equipment.

• Capable of troubleshooting and minor repairs of inboard marine diesel engines, as well as familiarity with waterjets.

• Must have ability to obtain security clearance.

• Must have HS Diploma or equivalent.

• Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is $30.00 -$33.57 hourly. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

ADA Notations:

• Must be able to work in an office environment. May sit for long periods of time.

• Must also be able to work in a shipyard environment and on naval vessels on occasion. Must be able to get up and down ladders and in tight spaces where required.

• May require PPE in certain environments (hard hat, steel toe boots, safety glasses, etc.)
