Job Description:

A commercial G.C. company in Orlando is hiring an experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects in the heavy commercial, education, and municipal sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.


Responsibilities:


Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and schedules.
Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
Monitor and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.


Qualifications:


Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in heavy commercial, education, or municipal construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
