POSITION PURPOSE:
An intern with American Woodmark will be responsible for supporting business operations in a project-focused role under the supervision of department staff.

Experience

Education
* Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
* Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or equivalent
* Academic degree work in a specified or technical field of study in alignment with position
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various projects and initiatives
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions and brainstorming sessions
* Conduct research, data analysis, and provide insights to assist in project decision-making
* Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring progress
* Prepare presentations and reports for leaders
* Complete assigned tasks and projects within established timelines
* Embrace a learning mindset and actively seek opportunities for professional development
* Other duties as assigned

* Typically, this position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
SCOPE & EXPECATIONS:
Language Skills:
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret system requirements and design documents. Ability to listen and communicate effectively with subject matter experts and all other personnel within the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret graphs and diagrams.
Reasoning Ability:
* Ability to define documentation projects, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical documentation in written or diagram form and translate this into user documentation that is clear, concise, and accurate.
Physical Demands:
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to lift 20-50 pounds.
