Job Description:

McClure Post Acute is looking for an Assistant Director of Nursing LVN/RN interested in Leadership.

• Full Time - Assistant Director of Nursing


• LVN/RN


• Pay: $50-$60 per hour

An Assistant Director of Nursing should be a hard-working and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse who's steadily developed their managerial and administrative skills. Being efficient, dedicated, a good listener and a problem-solver. The goal is to foster an excellent environment that will support everyone in working to the benefit of hospital and patients alike.

ADON Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Help attend care conferences when multiple admissions and multiple care conferences.


• Help attend CSR when needed


• Triple check orders placed for new admissions


• COC care plans up to date


• Help educate nurses on the floor and follow up on doctors' orders in PCC to ensure follow through


• Audit patient charts next day after admission


• Audit medications not administered and ensure medication is delivered from Alixa in a timely manner


• Intervene with COC to prevent RTA e Train new nurses


• Work the floor when needed e Doing orders over the weekend (alternate with DON)


• Help check emar/etar daily to ensure compliance from nurses


• Help with in-services and monthly nurse's meetings
