Position Summary:
Nationwide Uniform by Fechheimer is offering a job opportunity for a Warehouse Maintenance Technician in Hodgenville, KY. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager and involves maintaining a one-year-old, 140,000 square foot distribution center, along with the systems and equipment in operation.
Responsibilities:
Experience in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery
Solving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on various production and facility equipment
Reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical procedures, electrical schematics, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance work
(Dis)assembling/installing new machines, condition monitoring sensors, equipment, etc.
Performing regular technical inspections of machinery and equipment
Diagnosing faults and breakdowns
Repairing and maintaining industrial machinery
Performing preventive maintenance
Preparing reports on performed work and maintenance
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license and safe driving record
Basic knowledge of electrical systems
Experience with fire suppression and alarm systems
Previous maintenance experience
Previous experience operating a forklift and/or pallet jack
Cooperation with the production team to ensure production continuity
Basic knowledge of mechanics and electrical systems
Ability to diagnose faults and perform repairs
Teamwork skills
Accuracy and conscientiousness in performing duties
Resilience to stress and flexibility in dealing with technical issues
Physical Requirements:
Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
Frequent lifting/carrying of 25 lbs. or more up to 70 lbs.
Positional: Frequent standing and walking.
Gross Mobility: Climbing, frequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
Sensory: Rare tasting/smelling. occasional use of color vision. Occasional use of far visual acuity, depth perception, and field of vision. Frequent use of near and midrange visual acuity, and visual accommodation.
