Pay Rate: $65,000 - 75,000 per year based on experience
Work Schedule: Hybrid work schedule potential available after the training period. Must be able to commute to the Cincinnati/Blue Ash, Ohio office.
Position Summary:
Ensure the company's financial records are accurate and updated. Perform cost accounting analyses to determine product costs, create accurate budgets, and compare standard to actual cost. Assist in physical inventory counts and the reconciliation process.
Responsibilities:
Monitor new product development and gather cost information
Provide pricing department with cost estimates for bids
Update annual standard costs
Prepare monthly production and purchase price variance reporting
Identify discrepancies in product cost for evaluation
Prepare required government contract production reporting
Performs various month-end and year-end closing tasks
Assist with US Census and other government reporting
Assist with periodic physical inventory compilation and variance analysis
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
Experience in Cost Accounting and Manufacturing industry preferred.
Microsoft D365 ERP experience a plus. Atlas Software & SQL experience a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as accounting software.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of accounting procedures
Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and Bill of Materials (BOM's)
Advanced Microsoft Excel experience
Strong Analytical and organizational skills are required, with attention to detail
