As a Product Manager for Sinch's emergency services team, you will be responsible and in charge of all aspects of several key products. In this role, you will handle market analysis, assessment, respond to RFP's, gather customer needs and build product requirements, balance and align the product roadmap with business goals.
You'll expand the relationships that exists with the development team, helping translate business needs into technical requirements, driving projects across multiple functional teams, you will pull groups together and help them focus on results and exceeding customer expectations.
You will work with our account teams in determining customer/new market needs and priorities, building business cases for new products and significant product enhancements, partnering with leadership to ensure effective development and implementation of product plans.
As a member of the product management team, you will own and be responsible for managing the roadmap and day-to-day prioritizations for several emergency services products. You will work closely with leadership, product development and account management to manage our emergency services product portfolio throughout all phases of the product life cycle, from introduction through sunsetting.
Requirements
Own product roadmap for emergency services products, collaborate with development team and manage customer expectation around product and feature delivery
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to elicit requirements and understand priorities
Prioritize product enhancements and customer requests by making smart, decisive tradeoffs using data-driven analysis and sound judgment
Review product deliverables, participate in user acceptance testing and production implementation activities
Help new customers understand the value of and adopt Sinch's Emergency Services platform.
Conduct visits with customers, perform competitive analysis, and work with internal teams - Sales, Development, Technical Support, etc. - to understand market needs
Be an innovator with demonstrated ability to craft a vision, get people excited by ideas and get them quickly to market
Develop business cases for new products and significant product enhancements, including identifying customer needs, product and/or feature gaps, identifying solutions, market sizing, sales projection, costs, planning/management, etc.
Communicate product positioning and strategic value both internally and externally.
Proactively engage customers, partners, and internal stakeholders on the products and roadmap
Develop, maintain, and manage implementation of product roadmaps
Lead the product launch process to ensure the organization is ready to train, deploy, and support the product in the market
Measure results against business case expectations
Qualifications:
3 years + of experience in a product management role
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Engineering. MBA preferred
Experience with Emergency Services solutions
Working knowledge of 9-1-1 regulations and solutions in the US & Canada
Good understanding of software development life cycle
Prior experience working in an Agile SDLC environment
Business requirements authoring and management
Working knowledge of all aspects of Microsoft Office suite of products
Excellent verbal and written communication skills - documentation, presentations, and flowcharts

The annual starting salary for this position is between $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
