Description: The Department of East Asian Studies invites applications for one or more positions as lecturer in Chinese language, expected to begin September 1, 2025, or during the 2025-2026 academic year. Positions that begin September 1 are expected to extend for one-year without the possibility of renewal. While duty time and appointment length will be based on student enrollments, we expect to fill at least one full-time position. Experience teaching Chinese at the college level is preferred. We seek candidates with a minimum requirement of a master's degree in disciplines such as Chinese linguistics, Chinese language pedagogy, Chinese history, Chinese literature, or related fields. Ph.D. is preferred.
