BSPS, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Quality Control Manager for the 29 Palms MCAGCC BOS Contract. Individual will oversee and coordinate the planning, implementation, and supervision of the project quality control plan.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position, and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.
Ensure that all materials, workmanship, and repairs are in full compliance of the contract, plans, and specifications and all building codes
Review and approve all submittals and perform daily inspections of the work
Prepare reports, both daily and monthly
Monitor daily progress of projects
Review company quality control and safety plan
Possess a thorough and working knowledge of the plans and specifications of work performed
Serve a liaison between contractor and government QAR representative
Review and interpret plans, blue prints, site layouts, specifications, and construction methods to ensure compliance
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

5 years experience in preparing and enforcing QMS programs
DOD Contract Experience
EM385 Certifcation
OSHA 30
High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
Quality Management knowledge of facility operations and maintenance
Good people skills
Proficient computer skills
Preferred
5 years experience working quality management

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Additional outside job walks and inspections required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities.
